What to see in Termoli

Termoli offers numerous monuments and places of interest to visit.

Among the main monuments we must mention the Castello Svevo, which is located exactly between the historic center and the sea and is only a few minutes walk from MT Apartments.
The Swabian Castle dates back to the 11th century and was built during the Kingdom of the Normans to defend the coast from attacks by sea. Built entirely with sandstone and limestone, the central nucleus includes 4 towers at the corners and a central tower.

The ancient village, overlooking the sea and which is accessed from the side of the Belvedere Tower, deserves a special mention because it can be explored entirely on foot among ancient houses and cobbled streets.

Among these, we remember the rejecelle, which boasts the record of being the narrowest alley in Italy.

Finally, we recommend reaching the Cathedral of Termoli, or Cathedral of Santa Maria della Purificazione, because inside the bodies of the two patron saints of the city, San Timoteo and San Basso, are kept.
